Well the bookcases are bare and for someone who collects books this is a strange feeling. I keep thinking of something I want to read and I turn walk towards the bookcase and go oohhhhhhhhhh! I should have left something out to read ugh! I will include a photo of my empty bookcase so you can experience what I am feeling LOL!! And understand that this bookcase is only part of the set of bookcases. We have a pretty large library. Having all my books packed has actually been a good thing though because I have found myself journaling and reading my bible more since I have less distraction. And in a time where things are pretty chaotic I actually feel pretty peaceful.
School has been not as creative and fun as I usually like it I had to cut down on the art and projects since all our supplies are packed, but with Noah being sick and the house upside down and all this packing going on I have decided to stay on track and we are finishing up with Volume 2 of the Weaver getting our math done and sticking to the core subjects in school. I am really excited about the move but I can't wait to be done with all this packing.

I can really related to you on this!! I hate my bookshelves being bare! And when they are not full, I do find myself going to them wanting something to read, but nothing! Hope the move continues to go well! Have a beautiful day!
ReplyDeleteMoving is not the best experience to go through. When we moved from a very large to the cottage, it was a very educational experience for all of us. We realized that we owned quite a bit more stuff that we needed.
ReplyDeleteI am glad that you have been able to read the Word and journal more. I wish you a very stress-free move...is there such a thing? :)
blessings,
