Homemade Christmas Present Ideas For Children

Here in the Watts home we love to make our Christmas presents for each other. And this year I have been looking for some craft books to get some new ideas for things to make. I found this Japanese inspired craft book called Cute Stuff by Aranzi Aronzo filled to the brim. Lots of great ideas in here of super cute and easy things to make. My children having been leaving lots of hints of things they liked from inside the book hehehe! I decided to make one of the crafts today. I chose the water bottle cover to insulate and keep your water cool and Anna picked a cute duck appliqué for it. This craft was very inexpensive to make and I was able to find all the supplies for it at Wal Mart which is really convenient.

I can tell we are going to have lots of fun with this book the appliqués are super cute.

  1. Thank you for stopping by and commenting. I had a wonderful time with the ladies in Ala. They had about 25 tables decorated and each one was fabulous. The ladies were so created.

I just loved how they used the Scripture to be the "centerpiece of each centerpiece." What a great way to keep Christ the focus of every celebration.

I am adding a picture that I should have included. The ladies that did the clock centerpiece used old stretch wristband watches as napkin rings! Too cute. Check back and see it. And didn't you love the footprints in the sand? How clever. Anyways, thanks for stopping by. Hope the pictures will spark some creativity for you! Blessings.

  2. very cute! I love the look of the crafts. gosh if I ever learn how to sew I can do these things!! Homemade stuff is the best, I have fond memories of my bro and I creating something for each other for Christmas gifts, usually drawings.

  3. Oooh, just what I need! Another craft book to fall in love with. The ideas in here look wonderful! Thank you for sharing it!

  4. Cute projects! And your new puppy ~ he's adorable! We had thought about getting a Mastiff, but found a Doberman puppy who needed a home instead. Happiness is a big dog! =)
