The Mail...The Birds....Feathers...and The Dolls

The inside of our house right now is an absolute nightmare as we are having all the flooring ripped out and replaced. But sometimes the seasons we go through look terrible as the journey plays out only to leave a beautiful blessing in the end. And as this season is temporary I am sure our home will look wonderful in just a little time from now.

With that being said lets get out of the house and go outside. We decided to head out to find the mailbox. We know there is one some where! Won't you join us for a walk.

We also have a special corner for our feathered friends. Let us show you where they visit us.

They wear yellow so well and make it look so wonderful! What a blessing this corner is for us a place to sit and watch nature.

Anna is so happy to see her dolls again and she is getting them all dressed up for the holidays

And we would like to say thank you to the Graham family for the wonderful Feathers we received in the mail. Noah has received many compliments in town about his fabulous feather hat! The Graham Family Chickens are making quite the fashion statement out here in California! Praise the Lord for the blessing of pen friends. Noah also found another feather to put in his hat the gray one is from over by our bird area I think they left it as a thank you.

May the Lord continue to fill your days with joy and many blessings.

And yes, right now the journey looks a bit daunting but the ending will be filled with blessings ;-)

  2. So excited for you guys as you settle into your new home. That sure is a hike to the mailbox!

Heather, you asked what kind of camera I have. I actually have two and they both are better for certain needs. My daughter Abbey, was working part time for only a couple of months and surprised me with a Fuji Finepix J100 last Christmas. I love it because it is small and easy to take anywhere. I use it most for close-up shots.

My big camera is a Canon EOS (there are newer versions out now). We did a lot of research and asking around before making this purchase. It's a great camera. I have even shot a wedding and did some portrait work with it with great results. I am not a professional photographer, just love taking pictures and this camera works well for me.

Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving Day!
    Kindly,ldh

  3. Dear Heather,

Look at us! We're famous! Hee hee! If anyone else wants any feathers, just let us know; we have plenty!

That is just the most scenic route to your mailbox, holy cow! I hope you don't get many packages :). No wonder it took you a while to find it. I'll never feel picked on having to cross the highway to get to our mailbox again.

Thanks for the prayers and get-well wishes for the girls; everyone's feeling better now. We hope you had a wonderful day.

    Love,

    Marqueta
