Girl Facts. Here is a fact I learned today about girls from my daughter. You can put a girl in a skirt but it does not mean that she will not find sticks and play in the dirt and get covered in mud!! But even muddy she is still a girl.

Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

  1. I loved playing in the mud when I was a little girl~ my specialty was mud pies prepared on an old disposed of stove in my best friends back yard! Oh, Anna, think of the possibilities!

    :) Love ldh

  2. If it isn't messy it isn't fun is a motto of mine.

  3. I agree with Linda no mess no fun! We use to go down by the river and there was this wet sand you could sink into - probably over our knees or higher. Now that was fun!!!

  4. Dear Heather,

Oh, don't we love mud here! Of course, our soil is almost pure sand, so we have to have "sandwiches" instead of "mud pies" ;) .

    Love to you,

  5. Hooray! I finally have some time to catch up on your blog. Your hair is looking lovely! Growing it out is very tough. Funny thing is with each visit I make to the hair dresser, mine seems to get shorter. Hopefully one day I don't come home bald :oD!

Thrift store finds are such fun! So glad you have a good little store in town.

I've been praying that your neck feels better soon. I'm glad you are enjoying your resting time though.

I have some little ladies that would be right in the mud with Anna!

    Blessings, dear Heather!

  6. Hello my friend...

I'm just tickled pink to have you join in with Sunday Favorites this week...welcome!!!

What a great post to share with all of us! Ohhh, I can completely identify! I have three daughters...all of which are grown, married and with families of their own now! My youngest...was such a little tomboy! Ohh yes, and we really had to watch her when we were dressed and ready for church that she didn't go out and get in the dirt somewhere! Hehe! It's so funny because she grew into such a "Miss Priss"!

I too homeschooled my children for many years! I will never, ever regret the time, work, and discipline that it took! Those were some of the best years of my life...many, many fond memories were made!!!

Thank you again for participating with Sunday Favorites...sure hope you'll join us again!!!

    Warmest wishes,

My girls are the same way. Even in skirts they love to romp and play in the dirt and the mud! Sticks are wonderful toys - Great post dear friend!
