I would love to share with you a bible verse that was shared with us this Sunday in church it is an exciting and challenging one!
To the angel of the church in Philadelphia write:
These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What he opens no-one can shut, and what he shuts no-one can open.
8 I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no-one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.
What doors has God opened for you today? What Opportunity is sitting right in front of you waiting for you to seize it?
Deuteronomy 31:6
6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you."
What are you waiting for????
Don't miss the opportunities God has set aside just for you today!
Blessings ~Love Your Sister in Christ ~Heather

ReplyDeleteWhen He tells us...He will never leave us nor forsake us - Take HIM at HIS word - HE really won't!
ReplyDeleteGreat verses dear friend,
Maria
ps: The teapot is just lovely and so is the server :)
Dear Heather, Your daughter is so beautiful! She is a lovely hostess sharing tea with her company! I do feel that Jesus is with me day and night. I get up early in the morning to have my alone time with Him. I feel as though He is waiting for me at the table~my best friend! I sit in my rocker and read His word from my Bible. I talk to Him and see Him in all the beauty around me. Maybe the chirp of a bird, the faces on my sleeping children, the white snow that lights up the gloomy winter. I meet with Jesus every morning with my coffee in hand and a candle lit on the kitchen table. It is what I look forward to most to start my day. Your post was a blessing to me! Your dear friend, Rose
ReplyDeleteDear Heather,
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful verses to ponder upon! It is so comforting to know that our God is sovereign and knows that I have little strength for many things, "yet"... there is hope in that word for me... because although I may have little strength He looks upon the heart.... what comfort. Thank you for the encouragement to not be afraid that God is in control.
There's my favorite teapot and the sweetest looking hostess... lover her dress.
Blessings,
What a great idea and such fun!
ReplyDeleteI just love the sepia pic of dear Anna! Thank you for posting these great verses too. Especially Deuteronomy 31:6
ReplyDeleteBe strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.
Occasionally I can become overwhelmed by circumstances in my life and yesterday and today I have been fighting anxiety by keeping my mind renewed with the truth of this verse.
My husband reminds me to put on the full armor.
It has been encouraging visiting with you!
Kindly, ldh
Beautiful daughter! Beautiful words!
ReplyDeleteThank you Heathe for sharing.
Hugs and LOve Suex
Thank you for sharing your teatime post! It was encouraging and inspiring. Our church's small groups are studying Revelation right now. I am finding it very interesting. I never thought about God opening doors being a part of Revelation. So neat how God speaks to us through ALL of scripture.
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
