Homeschooling and Hymn Study

Photobucket

Anna along with her regular studies is enjoying a lapbook/notebook study this week on some of the more famous Hymns and the writers of them. We thought we would pass on the link in case anyone is interested. Faithbooking Hymn Study

Here is a version of the Hymn we learned about today from You Tube. You will need to pause the music on the blog so that it does not overlap with the hymn when you listen.
O For A Thousand Tongues to Sing. Words by Charles Wesley

Sing to the LORD, all the earth; proclaim his salvation day after day.
1 Chronicles 16:23

  4. What a great idea! My older girls did something similar (about hymnals) when I homeschooled them. It is always nice to know a little something about the songs we sing.

  5. Hi Heather,
Thank you so much for this post. I love Hymns. My favourite has got to be Morning Has Broken. I had this at my Wedding. R.E. was the only examination I passed! I just loved reading stories from the Bible. I really admire you for homeschooling. Hard work?

  6. I love to sing and listen to hymns. They truly do minister to my heart. Lapbooks are so much fun to do. Thanks for sharing the link; I will try this with our 9 year old son.

I keep checking on your sewing blog to see if you put up anything new but now I can see you are just as busy as me with homeschooling and all the other projects you have.
