Yesterday was the Art Show for the Art the Children created at church. To the surprise of the Children they showered them with appreciation and gifts. The children each got a set of new oil pastels and a recycled frisbee. And much to my surprise they showered me as well with a 100$ gift certificate to the Macaroni Grill. We felt very blessed. We are hoping now the Art Work will sell and we will be able to donate that money into a ministry at our church. The kids really enjoyed seeing their art hanging and then all the questions they were asked about it. I also really enjoyed making the Picasso I love fabric but I have never thought to make art with it so this was a great project for me as well to try something new. I think it was Mark Twain that said to build Character do something new every day......
